In the soft glow a moment hangs
Suspended from two hearts
Caught between desire and fear
Gazes drawn irresistibly repelled by doubt

A secret darkness 
A moment of hunger
A kiss unleashed 
An unquenchable thirst

So they stand fixed
A silent embrace born
Of desire and fear
Locked away forever an eternity
